UGANDA: 3DAYS GORILLA TREKKING SAFARI
The safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will get a chance to trek the mighty mountain gorillas. The park also harbors many other animals including elephants, birds, monkeys and many more.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival, your guide will pick you up and you will immediately start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will enjoy many scenic views as you travel and you will have a stopover at the Equator for some photos and experiments, have lunch in Mbarara and after proceed to the park and check in at your lodge. You will relax for that evening and prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
Breakfast early in the morning, and after proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. The rangers will lead you to start the search for the mountain gorillas. You will as well enjoy the flora and fauna of this park, and spend some ample time with these big giants. After meeting the gentle giants, you will go back to the lodge for a quick late lunch and after you start your journey to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy scenery viewing along the Lake in the evening.
Day 3: Departure back to Kampala
Have breakfast early enough as you prepare for a canoe ride on the Lake. You will explore the Islands on this lake and enjoy some good views as well as beautiful birds. Immediately after this, you will proceed with your departure back to Kampala and have a stopover at Mpambire Drum Makers to experience the actual process of making the drums, arriving in Kampala/Entebbe late evening. Your guide will either drop you at any hotel of your choice or at the airport to catch your flight.
